High-performance aluminum jet boats built without compromise.
Strake S12
A four-passenger, twelve-foot aluminum jet boat, built by hand for water most boats have to turn around in.

Propulsion

Capability
Built for waterthat doesn'thave a road.
Jet propulsion, a hull shaped for it, and nothing hanging below the bottom. The Strake S12 runs where a propeller stops the conversation.
- Shallow water
- Nothing protrudes below the hull. Skinny water is a route, not a risk.
- Jet propulsion
- Thrust on demand, full steering authority, instant reverse.
- Hull
- A reverse chine and a delta pad that put the boat on plane early and hold it there.
- Strength
- Fully welded marine-grade aluminum. Built to be beached, loaded and used.
Engineeredfrom the hull up.
Every surface, structure and component of a Strake boat is designed around performance, durability and simplicity.
01Hull
A hull thatearns its speed.
The bottom is shaped first and everything else is arranged around it. Aluminum lets us build a stiff, light structure without hiding it behind a moulded skin.
Aluminum construction
Fully welded marine-grade plate — no fasteners in the running surface.
Structural rigidity
Longitudinal stringers and transverse frames carry load into the keel.
Hydrodynamics
A reverse chine sheds spray and bites in a turn; the delta pad carries the boat on plane.
Strength to weight
Plate thickness follows load, not habit. Weight goes where it works.
Shallow-water performance
A flat aft run lets the boat plane early and stay there at low speed.
02Jet propulsion
Thrust withnothing exposed.
Water is drawn through a flush intake, accelerated by the impeller, straightened by the stator and discharged through a steering nozzle. There is no gearcase, no shaft below the hull and no blade to lose.
Protected propulsion
The drive sits inside the hull. The bottom stays a clean plane.
Shallow-water operation
Draft is set by the hull, not by the drivetrain.
Immediate response
Thrust and steering arrive together, at any speed.
Compact packaging
A short drivetrain frees deck space and keeps mass low and central.
03Structure
Five layers.One machine.
A Strake is assembled in a fixed order, and every layer is inspected before the next one closes over it.
Hull structure
Welded plate shell, keel and chines.
Stringers
Longitudinal boxes tying transom to stem.
Deck
Welded sole with sealed, inspectable compartments.
Engine bay
Mass low and on centre, serviceable from above.
Fuel system
Isolated, vented and reachable without cutting anything.
Jet unit
Aligned to the hull tunnel, not to the engine.
Design philosophy
Elegancethroughengineering.
Strake does not style its boats. We remove everything that is not doing work, then make what remains as good as it can be. What is left reads as design because it was never decoration to begin with.
“A clean hull speaks louder than chrome.”
Structure
The frame is the styling. Nothing is added to hide it.
Materials
Aluminum, left to look like aluminum.
Geometry
Lines that exist because the water asked for them.
Function
If it does not earn its weight, it is not on the boat.

Building the helm
The same shop,the other season.
Aerospace-grade aluminum ski and snowboard racks for snowmobile tunnels — built to the standard the boats are held to.

Fewer,better machines.
Strake is a small engineering company that builds boats it wants to run itself. That is the whole strategy.

Build yours.
Every Strake is built to order. Tell us where you run and how you use a boat, and we will build the sheet around it.
